Ethnic Necklace for Women - Rosa
The ethnic necklace for women is inspired by American civil rights activist Rosa Parks.
In 1955, the incident that would make it world famous took place; rarely has such a small act had such important consequences, in this case, in the field of the struggle for equal rights in North America. Rosa Parks, a humble colored seamstress, refused to give up her seat on the bus to a white traveler. The driver called the police and the woman was stopped and forced to pay a fine of fourteen dollars. The fact once again highlighted the segregation conditions to which people of colour were subjected, who were forbidden access to swimming pools, schools, restaurants and a large number of public services exclusively for whites...no comment
At Trart we only work with high quality materials. The jewelery pieces are made of polymer clay that we obtain to través from a totally handmade process. Our necklaces are water and wear resistant. As it is a traditional process, the jewels can vary in size as they are made by hand one by one. We are an original brand from Barcelona, we like the proximity and the love for athentic things.
The variety of shapes and textures are obtained by embedding clays of different colors, using complex techniques with spectacular results. The diversity of colors is obtained by mixing the primary colors, and in no case paint or other products other than clay are used.
All our designs are original and as they are handcrafted they will always be unique, since it is unlikely to make two exact ones.
